There were a run of movies like this, both comedies and action films in the 70s and 80s and they even occasionally popped up in the early 90s. The Bounty Hunter doesn't add anything new. It doesn't take the story on a fun and interesting turn, and it doesn't even cover old ground in a way that is fresh and entertaining. It's sort of just there and for the time and energy it takes to watch, you can easily tune into another of the many movies in this genre that are less of a bland rehash.”
