When you are remodeling your space and have an idea about including oriental table lamps in your setup, then you are faced with the decision as of what type of lamp to place in your room. Antique style ginger jar table lamp

While simple off-white silk oriental lamp shades will counter the complicated appearances of ginger jars themselves, it is still best if the antique style ginger jar lamp is placed on an isolated spot on the desk or shelf, with a plain white or light blue background. This will allow the precious lamp to stand out perfectly in its glamor.

Modern style Oriental table lamps
Modern style lamps are often more simply designed than their antique-style counterparts. Often, they will feature a single bold color jar, such as off-white, orange, turquoise, or red. As such, they will fit in a more busy environments. The backgrounds, such as the walls that you position the lamp against, can be white, but they can also be pastel or even vividly colored, as long as they match the color of the jar. For instance, the warm colors of the wall would match with the warm-colored lamp jar, such as yellow, orange, or ox-blood red. The cold colored surroundings will best match a turquoise or blue jars.
The lighting possibilities for modern style ginger jar table lamps are varied from as little as 10 W to 150 W lamp output power, which will allow you to use it as a dim bedside table lamp, or a powerful dining room lamp.
